HURRICANE IKE roared through Ohio last Sunday evening causing many of us great pain and suffering, damage to trees and property, but for most just a huge inconvenience.
Well this is humbling.....I will no longer complain about being without power for a week with cool breezes and plenty of sunshine. I KNOW many had severe damage here......but I also KNOW we are richly blessed.
Please take a moment to look at these photos and say a brief prayer of thanks for all you may have right now and be thankful you are not in this.......I really wish I never complained, thanks be to God.

I know exactly what you mean. For us Ohioans (which you now are, whether you think it or not), this was just a small taste of Ike. Something to talk about, then move on. Not so for these poor people.
I have been praying for them all week. It's almost too much to bear, looking at all that devastation.
BTW, Friday is looking good for me. I will call you when I wake up tomorrow.
