I do not mean to copy Heather but I must add.
We are still happy from our fun weekend! We got invited to a Blues Festival and Cookout with one of MY friends, not a work folk from GAIC. (Not that there is ANYTHING wrong with that) My point is I have a friend, now two actually, and she invited me back!
Heather and I met "blogging" which some of you think is silly. Some of you may think that a blogging friend is kind of scary too. But far from it.
Heather, her husband Joe, her daughter Isabel, sons Gabe and Elijah had us to their lovely home for dinner after attending the Lebanon Blues Fest. She gathered us and took us in the heat to downtown Lebanon for the Festival which included funnel cakes, shaved ice and "cool cars & hot wheels", not to mention Blues music and cold beer. We wandered, festivaled and enjoyed the sights and sounds before returning to their home.
Once there, friends joined in. Becky, Mike and kids...sorry do not have all the names down yet. They too were just great! Mike played guitar and he and Kipper jammed a while, finding a nice middle ground in their styles. Kids ran a-muck and we all watched their precious baby girl Summer, who is 16 months.....she was a doll. Joe taught her a great trick too!! (see Heather's blog)
Winding the wonderful evening down, we sat and "exposed ourselves" in the best way by playing the Newlywed Game! What color is your husbands toothbrush???????? What is your favorite snack before bedtime???????? We laughed and found out a few things about each other, we may not have ever known! (or wanted to know!!!!)
It was great. It was fun, relaxing, entertaining, Delicious food and great friendship. I felt so at home, so comfortable and relaxed and I am so thankful!
God must have had His big hand in this one!
AMEN for FRIENDS! Thanks Heather, YOU ROCK!!

You are just too sweet, Catherine! We had just as much fun, and I am honored that you guys wanted to come spend time with our crazy bunch. Becky and Mike had a great time, too, and we can't wait to do it again. August 14th at the Melting Pot for the girls night out, more details to follow...
Isabel would love another playdate. She adores your girls!
Go to Target or Sam's Club for the Twilight books...they had all of them for a good price. As soon as school is back in session, I promise to organize a book club :)
So happy you girls are enjoying each other and your respective families. I think it is the coolest story that you met through blogging.
CB--if you cannot find those books...look on Amazon. If they're not there...I'll send you MINE!
I'm also expecting the Yada Yada books this week, too, and am so excited to start our long-distance prayer group. It is much needed and greatly anticipated.
And, to put a bug in your ear...how can we get Heather to Texas in March to be a pilgrim on Walk 100?!
LOVE YOU!
