Well I finished the first book, finally.
And I must say, I was a little sad for it to end. Not because I wanted more but because it was less than I hoped.
It was good, yes I agree and readable, for sure....but predictable is the one word I would use to describe it first.
That being said, yes I want to see the movie and yes I started NEW MOON the second in the series. I am hopeful.
I want to see what they will do with the book into as movie. I want to see this Edward guy face to face.
Maybe I am just too old for this silly stuff. It is written for teens after all! But the other book I am reading, it is such great literature....."Since You're Leaving, take out the Trash"....now this is a classy book!!!

OK Catherine... here it is... my first comment to your blog. I must admit that you guilted me into it... hated to continue being recognized as one of your friends who has never commented on your blog. I'm not a blogger, so don't get used to this. Just know that I love you and can't wait to visit October 1st through 4th. I'm so glad to have an airline ticket and am counting the days... cuz I can't stand not seeing you as often as I used to. Please give those sweet girls each a hug for me and give your honey Kipper an even bigger hug (along with a big kiss) cuz a kiss and a hug can cure your pain. Can't wait to see you in Ohio!

PS - I love the Rainbow Connection song that's playing now on your blog... it brings back memories of you, me and PT on that Walk to Emmaus where we were blessed with the most amazing rainbow I've ever seen. Congrats on your move!!! I just finally bought this book this weekend because of all the raves. I had a slow start & fell asleep so we shall see. I wonder which way I will go with it myself.
